What does "open box" mean?
Open box is what we call the Portagers that have been used for display purposes, or perhaps purchased and opened, but then rehomed back to us. We inspect everything thoroughly and then sell them at a big discount. Inventory is limited, so act fast!
*open box products not combinable with combo discount.
The Portager is made to move.
This is our most popular board because of its portability and versatility. It is the highest performing inflatable paddle board on the market that has a very comparable feel to our rigid model, called the Loon.
Will this board work for me?
Yes. This board is a true one-size fits all. Because the Portager is inflatable, it is very buoyant and fits a very wide range of paddlers. From young children to 350+ lb adults, the board will have the control, stability and balance to support all types.
We don't make the Portager shorter, because the 11'6'' length is a key element on the boards performance. And we don't make bigger boards, because the Portager already has a 350 lb capacity.
Go further with Paddle North Challenges & the included All Terrain transport bag.

Features
Extreme rigidity and buoyancy - made from the highest grade, 1.2mm drop-stitch PVC in a 6" thickness.
No over inflation - a built in pressure regulator monitors pressure, so over inflating beyond capacity is a thing of the past. This is especially important in warm weather environments where intense heat and sunlight can increase pressure quickly when pulled out of the water.
Universal valve - Halkey-Roberts valves allow any type of air compressor or electric pump to be used. They also self-seal, so there's no race to close it (losing valuable air pressure).
Strengthen up to 18 psi - all seams are built to withstand up to 18 psi with our unique 3-layer seam lamination system. It feels like a rigid board on the water.
The Portager ships from our warehouse in Minneapolis, MN via UPS. If the Portager is in stock, it will ship within 24-48 hours and have a transit time of 1-5 days (depending on destination).
You will receive a UPS tracking number once it leaves our facility.

Outstanding inflatable SUP option
I’ve used my new Portager twice and am really impressed by its performance. I’m an experienced paddler with 2 other SUP’s - a carbon fiber touring board and a 4 year old inflatable. The inflatable Portager is a huge upgrade in performance over our older inflatable and is surprisingly close in its stability, tracking, and speed to the hard touring board. The hard board still shines in its glide and performance in wind blown chop, but the Portager is so much easier to transport and store, and is a tremendous value for the price. Highly recommend!

Great staff, love the board
I was so happy to be able to buy a board locally, and to see it before buying. The staff was amazing, and I couldn’t be happier with the board—took it out 3 times the first week I had it. Board is top-notch for quality and usability, all the accessories I need included. I purchased the extended warranty, which was very reasonably priced. 100% would recommend and buy again.

SO HAPPY
The whole process from start to finish was absolutely amazing! The board is exactly what I wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend this company & board. You won’t regret it.

Portages review
It looks really good! We still have 2 feet of ice on our lake outside of Ely. We probably won’t get to use it until mid June. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
