The Hive is designed for floating, lounging, and cooling off without being fully submerged in the the water. Its fully integrated mesh center keeps you partially submerged while still fully supported, creating the perfect place to relax, hang out with friends, or keep the kids entertained for hours.
Lightweight and quick to inflate, the Hive is easy to bring anywhere. The lower-pressure outer hexagon gets you on the water faster, while durable PVC construction and a supportive mesh center provide the comfort and durability needed for all-day use. Equipped with D-rings for anchoring, tethering, or connecting to other gear, the Hive is built for relaxing days on the water.
Compact, lightweight, and surprisingly capable, the Hive can support over 1,200 lbs, comfortably accommodating 4-5 adults. Typically, some people lounge in the mesh center while others sit around the outer edge. If everyone was on the outer perimeter, you'd sit lower in the water.

Will this work for me?
Yes. The Hive is lightweight and inflatable, making it easy for anyone to manage. No need to worry about carry weight or storage constraints. It weighs only 19 lbs and packs up small (28" x 13"). Take it out on the boat, to the beach, ocean, or pool.
Is it OK for my dog?
Yes. Constructed of military grade 1.2mm, triple-layer PVC and a tough, polypropylene center mesh, dog claws are no problem.
How is this different than the Loons Nest?
While both the Hive and the Loons Nest share similarities, there are few differences. The hive hive features a lower pressure outer hexagon, which means a lower psi threshold (max 3.5 psi) and less rigidity, making it slightly quicker to inflate.
What is the weight capacity?
A lot. It can float a lot more weight than it can support in its size (we've had 1,200+ lbs on it). It can fit 4-5 adults comfortably. The most common setup is a of people hanging out in the mesh, while others are sitting along the perimeter. If everyone was on the perimeter, you'd sit lower in the water.
Can I use it in salt water?
Yes. The Hive can be used in salt water or fresh water. Like anything in the ocean, a quick, fresh-water rinse before long term storage is recommended.
