Shipping Policy

TRANSIT TIMES

We work to process all non-preorder orders in 1-3 business days. We consider business days Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Transit times depend on the product category ordered and shipment destination, but average transit times within the Lower 48 States is 2-4 business days after leaving our facility. Higher order volume may result in longer shipping transit times during Peak Season (April to September). Preorders will be processed and shipped once in stock at our warehouse in New Brighton, MN.

DESTINATIONS

We ship to most residential and business addresses within the United States and internationally, although additional charges do apply for international shipments. International orders are also subject to local import duty fees. Paddle North is not responsible for calculating or collecting import duty on orders.  

RATES

Shipping rates vary based on product size and shipping destination and are calculated at checkout based after address is input. Additional shipping charges may apply if order is expedited or shipping location is outside of the Lower 48 States.   

SHIPMENT NOTIFICATION & TRACKING

As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notifying you that your package is in transit. Your shipping confirmation email will include a tracking number to track your order with the applicable carrier. If shipping is managed by our in-house shipment team, we will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. 

CARRIERS

All solid paddle boards are shipped via our in-house shipment team or freight shipping partner depending on shipment destination. All inflatable paddle boards, accessories, and apparel are typically shipped via UPS or USPS. Alternative carriers may be used when required.

DAMAGE WHILE IN TRANSIT

We do everything we can to package each item with care to ensure your order will arrive undamaged. There may be rare circumstances, outside of our control, when an order may arrive with damage incurred while in transit.

VISIBLE DAMAGE UPON RECEIPT

Upon delivery, please look for any obvious signs of damage before signing for and accepting the shipment. If you see the contents are damaged, we suggest refusing the shipment and writing “Refused due to Damage” on the BOL and returning to the delivery driver.

DAMAGE AFTER ACCEPTING SHIPMENT

If you notice damage from transit after signing for your order, you have 5 business days from the date of delivery to notify Paddle North and file a claim. Any claims filed outside of this window could result in the claim denial or customer responsibility for shipping charges. To file a claim, please email support@paddlenorth.com
