Paddle North is the originators of the high pressure inflatable water mat, the Utility Dock. With thousands of them in use and over a decade of experience in business, we're here to simplify your research process.

The Utility Dock is..

  • A Swim Platform: Anchor it and leave it in the water for a season-long swim raft experience.
  • A Sun Deck: Tow it behind your boat and enjoy it as a sun deck at the sand bar.
  • A Dock Extension: Connect it to your dock to create a user-friendly launch point for kayaks, paddle boards, or jet skis.
  • A Float Behind Your Boat: Transform it into a waist-deep water gathering spot for card games, happy hours, fish stories, and more.
  • A Slip-and-Slide: Flip it over, add soap, and enjoy an exhilarating slip-and-slide experience.
  • A Work Station: Utilize it for boat washing, boat engine maintenance, or as a stable platform for your boat lift.

Notable Features

Welded Seams & Regulated Pressure.

We introduced Pressure Regulators to combat heat exposure in 2018. When the air temperature is hot, the air pressure in your inflatable increases. The pressure regulator automatically lets air out and allows the utility dock to operate at higher pressures.

Multi Layer PVC (VS Single Ply)

The biggest cost driver of any inflatable build is the thickness of the PVC used in its construction. Thin PVC is why inflatables have bad reputations for having durability issues. Yes, price matters, but making cheap inflatables that don't last more than a season or two is not the business we're in. We go way overboard and use three layer PVC, with reinforced RAILS that can withstand kids, dogs and even some cats? Yes, it is more expensive, but it'll last significantly longer and you won't have to deal with patches.

Available in Three Configurations

  • Utility Dock: 9' long x 6' wide x 6'' thick - Supports over 1500 lbs
  • Utility Dock XL: 12' long x 6' wide x 6'' thick - Supports over 2000 lbs
  • Utility Dock XL W/ Ramp: 12' Long x 6' wide x 6'' thick - Supports over 2000 lbs
  • The Dock is reversible. The Grip side is the loaded up side with all the accessories, valves and handles. Flip it over to slip and slide without any obstacles (wet PVC is slippery!).
  • Action mounts: Accessorize your dock with lights, music, cup holders, rod holders, dock log back rests, or strap down coolers.
  • Leave it in all season. High visibility reflectors and x8 anchor points along the perimeter of the platform.
  • Easy Storage.  Just roll, strap and go. We also offer an optional bag with wheels, without needing to know folding origami. Folding PVC in half is not good for the longevity of any PVC product. If you want to achieve years of fun with your inflatable mat, don’t fold it in half. Roll it, don’t fold it.
  • Easy inflation with standard valves. Have a high powered pump or compressor already? It’ll likely work. Need a pump? We have Halkey-Roberts adapters, manual pumps, electric pumps for cars and plug in wall pumps.
  • D-rings are your friend for mooring, anchoring or connecting multiple together. We’ve beefed up the D-rings to be strong enough to even tow behind a boat with.
