A variation of our most popular paddle board, The Portager XL is a true two-person board with maximum versatility. Stand and paddle, or sit and kayak... together. It supports up to 650 lbs, which makes it great for paddling with friends, family, and pets. The extra space can also be used for more fishing gear, or additional room to exercise or just relax.

Board capacity: Supports any paddlers and gear up to 650 lbs. Above 650 pounds, the board's balance gets more difficult.
Features:
Extreme rigidity and buoyancy - made from the highest grade, 1.2mm drop-stitch PVC in a 8" thickness.
No over inflation - a built in pressure regulator monitors pressure, so over inflating beyond capacity is a thing of the past. This is especially important in warm weather environments where intense heat and sunlight can increase pressure quickly when pulled out of the water.
Universal valve - Halkey-Roberts valves allow any type of air compressor or electric pump to be used. They also self-seal, so there's no race to close it (losing valuable air pressure).
Strengthen up to 18 psi - all seams are built to withstand up to 18 psi with our unique 3-layer seam lamination system. It feels like a rigid board on the water.

I had tried other inflatable paddle boards and didnt' feel steady on them, I felt like I was going to fall in the lake if i moved around. I found the Portager XL and it has been everything I was looking for. I feel steady, I can sit, kneel, stand, move around and not fall off. We have used it quite a few times this summer, as a kayak with 2 adults on it with no issues, we have used it with my kids on it and they even used it to run and jump off into the lake while I was on it. We love it!! Highly Reccomend !!

I think I walked past the PN store at MOA 100 times… always wanting to stop in and buy a paddle board. I’m glade I finally did it. I could see straight away the build quality was high end. I’m delighted with the size and sturdiness of this XL PN board. My wife and I have used it together (both of us on it) and of corse she has her own board so it’s nice to hit he lakes and rivers together. We are supper excited to get the 3 Kayak seats.. AND us it as a Kayak. We have European family visiting us next summer. We I’ll be buying the PN dock to have more fun on the water. If you want the best inflatable paddle boards, they are the best!

Love it!! My 80lb lab loves it too!! Just took it on a camping trip to the UP and used it on Lake Michigan, Huron and Superior and the nearby smaller lakes and inlets. Works well with a large dog or two people (and a small third person or dog when sitting). Haven’t used the two seat accessory kit yet but will soon.

This SUP is working really well for a bigger person. Much easier to balance on. Inflates quickly and all accessories attach easily - same as our 2 Portager SUPs.

I have LOVED this paddleboard. I’m new to the sport, and Paddle North has made every single part of my “onboarding” (ha) easy and judgement free. First of all - the board is a beast, I feel so comfortable on it that I have been out on it a half dozen times in the last few weeks. I can make an early morning or impromptu meet up happen easily. And as I learn the equipment, PM has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything is working as it should be (and sometimes, it’s plain ol’ operator error and they DON’T JUDGE!)
